Responsibilities of the 1st Line Support Team leader
-Management of 1st Line server support team in high availability environment.

-Demonstrate motivational leadership for the people assigned to you as team leader.

-Day to day technical progression of calls

-Act as technical escalation point for the team and prior to escalation to 2nd Line.

-Provide direction, performance feedback and encouragement to ensure that they continue to develop their skills and overall contribution.

The Person:

-Must have technical exposure and understanding of Windows 2003, 2005, 2008 server OS issues.

-Knowledge and demonstrable experience of technical progression of server performance and capacity issues.

-Demonstrable technical team management experience (desirable)
