Investors in People (IiP)
Investors in People is a national standard which helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of their people.
It provides a framework, which can be adapted by any organisation, for improving business performance through a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing employees to meet these objectives.
The Investors in People framework is based on three key principles
- Plan – to develop strategies to improve the performance of the organisation
- Do – to take action to improve the performance of the organisation
- Review – to evaluate the impact on the performance of the organisation
