Over 700 scientists recently transitioned from the partner laboratories of the Medical Research Council (MRC), Cancer Research UK, the Wellcome Trust, UCL, Imperial College London and King's College London to the new site in the heart of London's Kings Cross, with another 500 set to join shortly.
Named after the co-discoverer of the structure of DNA, The Francis Crick Institute will examine fundamental questions about how illnesses develop, in order to find new ways to treat conditions such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, infections and diseases of the brain.
IT is fundamental to capturing, storing, securing and sharing the vast amounts of data that will be generated in research, as well as providing the fundamental corporate IT systems and applications required for The Crick to operate on a daily basis. Inspire People are proud to have played an integral part in growing the Crick's IT organisation and look forward to continuing to do so.
