Sify is the largest service provider, systems integrator, and all-in-one network solutions company on the Indian subcontinent. They’ve grown to become a truly global business expanding into the United States, with headquarters in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley, Singapore and the UK and Europe. First listed on NASDAQ in 1999 they are now an organisation of more than 2700 people serving over 100,000 clients with revenues of more than US $312M.

Background:

In 2019 Sify launched their Cloud Partner Channel, making inroads for them to fill some of the skill and capability gaps for many European Cloud engagement partners. Sify’s challenge has been to build brand and reputation in a market where they have been successful but are still growing their presence. They needed to shape a narrative that would resonate with UK and Europe channel partners and articulate the true value of partnering with them. With such vast breadth of capability, we worked with them to distill their comprehensive offer into an approach that would position them as an ideal partner in a new and challenging business landscape.

The Brief:

Sify had planned to attend a large conference to promote their services but the pandemic encouraged them to consider digital avenues. They engaged with Inspire People to collaborate on a delivery method to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Position Sify as a partner of choice in the UK and European market.
  • Demonstrate that Sify can provide a serious value add for partner’s end users, enabling them to grow their reach and service portfolio, especially in the current landscape.
  • Show the true value of partnering with Sify, through demonstrating that their expertise, product set and collaborative approach will help partners to delight their customers.

Solution:

Inspire People worked with the Commercial Director of Sify Technologies Europe to create a sales enablement report designed to establish insight and provide thought leadership into current market conditions, supported by existing primary research.

This approach allowed Sify to addressing common challenges arising from the current landscape, supported by research and insight; and explore themes that demonstrated how Sify are ideally placed to help partners’ respond in a post-Covid 19 market.

The report provided an effective place to take Sify’s story to their target audience, showcasing their deep expertise and capability, reassuring credentials and wealth of international experience; in addition to several case studies and communicating how partners would be supported by Sify’s team.

The result is an engaging sales enablement tool that represents SIfy’s value proposition and supports their brand-building and sales goals.
