This is a great opportunity for a Helpdesk Manager with great people skills and experience of managing a busy helpdesk function of at least 5 people within a B2B environment to join a long-established Managed IT Services Provider who are rapidly expanding. You will thrive working in a busy environment and enjoy multi-tasking, whilst keeping calm! Previous knowledge of working in an IT function is desirable but not essential for the right management and communication skills. Office based in Epsom. £30k to £35k DOE.
You will have the charisma and personality to manage an experiences Helpdesk team of approx. eleven 1st/2nd and 3rd Line Helpdesk Engineers, conducting morning meetings and regular 121 appraisals, ensuring that Customer Satisfaction Scores remain at their current high levels and have the confidence to take ownership of critical customer issues to successful resolution.
Key Role Guide for the Helpdesk Manager includes:
* Overall responsibility for helpdesk performance, including SLAs, KPI and customer satisfaction.
* Daily catch-ups with the helpdesk team to identify any problem tickets that need attention.
* Identify and manage/own any critical customer issues to ensure continued customer satisfaction including escalation to senior engineering, account and admin teams where required.
Helpdesk Manager candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
* Excellent communications and management skills.
* Experience managing a B2B helpdesk (IT Helpdesk desirable but not essential).
* Hard worker who thrives in a busy environment, who enjoys multi-tasking whilst keeping calm.
