This enables over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be secured against property across England and Wales.
We are now looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for Power Platforms to join our Transformation & Technology Directorate.

The IT Operations Practice sits within the Transformation and Technology directorate and is responsible for the performance and delivery of all technical infrastructure which underpins and supports the organisation. It consists of a number of specialist technical teams which provide support, monitor and operate technical solutions.
The Power Platform team is a new team to the organisation and will form part of a wider group of infrastructure engineering teams which design, deliver and support corporate services, for 6500 internal users.
This role is to provide leadership to the PowerApps teams. You will lead and manage the implementation, and maintenance of Infrastructure and Microsoft Power Platform solutions. As the senior engineer, you will support and guidance the Power Platform team, ensuring the development of solutions meet the business needs.
You will engage with other Technical Leads, Delivery Leads, and Architects to deliver solutions to agreed designs, contributing to business-as-usual activities, projects and strategic planning.
You will be required to develop the team members to meet the future needs of HM Land Registry. You will provide technical input for projects and larger pieces of work, aiming for greater operating efficiency and development of further cost-effective options for its use whilst ensuring the availability and reliability are kept at the highest possible levels.
The role holder will take forward technical consolidation and/or improvement activities providing guidance and leadership to technicians within the IT Operations Practice and wider, whilst also working across Transformation and Technology to support and deliver solutions in line with the Technology and Business Strategies.

Line management for EO and HEO staff within the IT Operations Practice.
Person specifications
Essential Technical Criteria:
- Some knowledge of Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Co-pilot Studio.
- Some scripting or programming knowledge (e.g. C#, ASP.Net, Ruby, Java, Python, Power Fx, JavaScript)
Essential Experience Criteria:
- Experience of building, deploying and manging Power App solutions using Continuous Integration/Deployment methods.
- Experience of implementing and managing Power Platform components and infrastructure solutions.
- Experience of optimising power apps to increase performance
- Experience in automation and administration tasks within the Power Platform environment.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact and build working relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage technical risk and lead implementing appropriate mitigations.
- Evidence of planning and managing significant technical change.
- Qualifications
- Holds a qualification in Information Technology or a related area (Degree Level or equivalent) or experience in an IT field.
